Bei Germanrhymes habe ich gerade ein Mixtape gefunden, in das ich nicht reinhören muss um es hier reinzunehmen, nicht wegen der musikalischen Qualität, sondern wegen der historischen Relevanz. Murda Mase aka Mase, Big L, Cam’ron aka Killa Cam, McGruff und Bloodshed Cam’rons Cousin formten zusammen mal die Harlemer Crew Children Of The Corn. Man könnte meinen, die Crew war vom Pech verfolgt, erst zogen sich Cam’ron & McGruff zurück um Basketball zu spielen, dann starben Bloodshed und Big L und die Crew konnte nie ein ganzes Album aufnehmen. Die einzelnen Tracks die über die Jahre zusammen getragen wurden, wurden nun von DJ Grain zu einem Mixtape zusammen gefasst. Danke für den Rap-Geschichts Unterricht.
